The Language of God from Francis S Collins, he wrote the book after he became a Christian. He was the head of the human genome project and recently retired as the Director NIH in Washington.
I have found that my love for God because I am not worthy of the sacrifice is more intriguing to nonbelievers than trying to convince them with patented responses.
Thank you for sharing your insights. I always look forward to reading your messages. I was raised in the church and can’t remember ever not believing in God. My husband is a scientist and agnostic, at best. He cannot reconcile what science tells him about the universe and evolution with what the Bible says. Can you recommend any books that could help? I pray that one day he might join the list of names from your message that had a change of heart.
Thanks for that Scott. We must never be afraid to examine the Lord with a critical eye, the harder you look the more clear His truth becomes. cross posting for my readers.
