Science, Philosophy, and Our Search for God
Science and philosophy give us important clues. But they aren't the final answer. God is.
This week, we’ve been looking at the ultimate questions:
Why are we here? What, and who, are we really searching for?
Today, we keep that conversation going with a new teaching about science, philosophy, and our search for God.
And, in case you missed it, here’s everything from this week in one place:
➔ Sunday’s Essay:
How Can We Know if God is Real?
➔ Monday’s Teaching:
God is Closer Than You Think
➔ Today’s Teaching:
Science, Philosophy, and Our Search for God
In Today’s Teaching:
Across centuries, the greatest thinkers - philosophers, scientists, and seekers - have sought answers to the deepest questions: Why are we here? What, or who, is the ultimate source of truth, beauty, meaning, and morality? Despite the breathtaking advances of science and the profound reasoning of philosophy, these disciplines ultimately point beyond themselves to the One who is the truth, not just a topic of inquiry. In today’s teaching, we explore how the fine-tuning of the universe, the longings of every human heart, and the historical reality of the resurrection all converge on the same reality: God Himself. If you’ve ever wondered whether science and philosophy diminish or deepen faith, you're invited to listen, reflect, and discover the One who placed these longings within us.
So why do you insist on calling the 3 in One God who creates all peoples in Their own likeness Him? Shouldn’t you call them They? Why insist the God who creates women in Their image is a Him? Seems like an artificial construct intended to artificially elevate men.
